She could have tried to convince herself it was to prove she was gonna heal, but really she wanted to show it off a little, which was the exact opposite of helpful. At least she knew that much.]

I really don't remember what street I was on. I mean I might later? I don't know what she might do. It was definitely a little personal at least but... I think I would have noticed if she'd actually been following me for a while or anything.

How bad is the wound? Do you think she was trying to kill you and do you think she'll try and finish the job?

Well, that depends on how you measure bad? It didn't hit anything vital and it'll heal but it's gonna be a impressive scar. It's bandaged up obviously but do you want to see? I don't know what she intended or otherwise.

[She could definitely deal with him living in her pocket or the like for a while at least, especially if it helped.]

[Cue one relieved giggle. Well, mostly relieved, and a little a result of the painkillers. She shifted, pushing the blankets down and tugging the ridiculous hospital gown up - she hated it - to show a moderately sized bandage on the right side of her stomach.]

It's not really actually anything to see, is it? [Arya knew that, and yet, vague disappointment.]

I don't know how much it'll help but will you do it anyway?

[Peter waggled his eyebrows at her as she flashed him a little leg as she moved the hospital gown. The wound wasn't all that bad, or at least he assumed so considering how small the bandage was.]

Oh no yet, but once the bandage comes off there'll be more to see. Should I get you a crop top you can wear to show it off?

[He smiled and kissed the top of her head.]

Anything for you. But you have to tell me if you're seriously so I can actually get one.

[She rolled her eyes at him, like he didn't see that regularly, but she was still smiling too, and she might have curled closer when he kissed the top of her head, purely coincidental of course.]

That's the most tempting a crop top has ever been, but I still don't think it's very me.

I think I'd definitely enjoy it but it's really up to you. If it influences your decision - I'm not supposed to do anything, y'know, fun, for at least a couple weeks. [Arya actually had no memory of how long they had told her to refrain from physical exertion.]

[He was happy to let her stay as close as she wanted since that the moment his reaction was to keep her absolutely as close as possible. She was okay, he could see that, but he was still a little worried and shaken up about it.]

That's alright. I'll get one just to drive you crazy and leave you all frustrated for when you're finally better. [You know, if he didn't die after going two weeks without sex. It was dumb to think that was such a long time since he'd gone his entire life without it before now but it would be the longest they'd gone without it since they started.]

[She knew that, and he was doing so well at letting her be weird and particular about this, and after that two weeks, she would properly show her appreciation.]

I guess that's fair, I've done that to you plenty for small stretches. [She wasn't going to let him DIE. They could get creative.]

I promise I'm going to take good care of you without making it seem like I'm smothering you.

[Because she would let him know if he was smothering so he didn't have to worry about that.]

You can keep a journal. Every time you want to do something to me write it down and then we'll do it once you're better.

I don't know how you manage to be so patient.

[She would. So far he was doing really well at not making her do that, though, and that was a really good sign he would be able to keep his promise anyways.]

If I keep a diary of every dirty thought I have about you for two weeks, I'll never stop writing things down.

You make it easy. Like... if I screw up you’ll let me know so I can do better but you won’t judge me.

[He gave a shrug at that. There was kind of the most freeing thing ever and one reason he felt like he could relax around her.]

[That was good. She hadn't necessarily gotten out all the punchiness earlier, and she didn't actually know if she would get punchy with him over him, but it probably wasn't impossible.]

[Yeah, that wasn't going to suffice for her. She had actually just realized he had not properly kissed her once yet, and she's pretty immediately grumpy about it.] Stop being weird and kiss me. [She didn't actually wait - it still counted as taking it easy, in her opinion, if she didn't move but instead dragged him to her by his shirt.]

[He was cut off as she grabbed him and kissed him, which really was taking it easy for them. His hands cupped her face as he kissed her back, tongue teasing hers as he hummed appreciatively. Kissing her was REALLY amazing.]
